Trust is Not a Mutual Understanding

Everyday, I keep asking myself..can we actually force ourself to trust a person? Some people say, as soon as the trust breaks, the relationship breaks. But not in 'this' case. The trust breaks, but the relationship survives. Strange ey?

You keep convincing her the relationship will work.
Keep asking her to build the trust.
But when she was nicely building it, look what the trust has done to her?
Stupid trust.
And then you told her to try regain the trust.
She tried.
And again, look what the trust has done to her?
And now what? Telling her to reconstruct the trust is it?

The girl just couldn't be bothered anymore. Everything will go as planned.
But the trust doesn't have to come back.
